Trauma-Informed-Practice

Trauma-informed Practice

We are trauma informed because we recognise that many individuals, both young and old, have experienced difficult or distressing events that can impact their behaviour, learning and well being.

By adopting a trauma informed approach, we create a safe, supportive environment where people feel understood, respected and valued. This means focusing on building trust, promoting emotional safety and responding with empathy rather than judgement.

Being trauma informed is not just a practice, it’s a commitment to care and inclusion.
